Before passing the distribution the seminal material is submitted to rigorous controls:
On the boars
• the animals genetically tested a will are submitted to sanitary quarantine before entering in the productive cycle:
PROTOCOL FOR THE ENTRY OF THE BOARS IN SEMENITALY
SANITARY REQUIREMENTS
The sanitary protocol is founded on the followings controls:
• in breeding of the supplier of the boar
(take place from the official Veterinarian in the 30 preceding days the entry in the Semenitaly quarantine)
Following there are the illnesses of the swine
for which the controls are effected:
THRUSH
VESICULAR DISEASE
CLASSICAL PIG PLAGUE
BRUCELLOSIS
AUJESZKY GE DISEASE
For this group of illnesses it is provided a serological control before the entry in quarantine with negative result.
For the PRRS and the AUJESZKY GB Disease the serological examination are required which can be positive.
It is also required the search of the virus of the PRRS in the blood through PCR with negative result.
After 15 days from the entry in Semenitaly quarantine the boars are controlled again for the same illnesses and can pass to the department of production only with negative results spent others 15 days, therefore the boars have to stay in quarantine for at least 30 days. |
